As of Sept fifteen, 2022 I was able to fix a Permanent Password on the Costless Personal version on my Mac (the intended remote desktop) at:
TeamViewer (in the top bar)> Preferences> Advanced tab> Personal Password

I have institute a security tab in the the preferences carte du jour and accept ready a password only on each luanch of team viewer the ID remains the same only the 4 digit numerical password changes how do I make sure each calculator keeps the aforementioned loging info.
I have set an account, added a computer / device and volition add together a farther i or 2.
volition this insure that I dont need to worry about the iv digit pass word irresolute ?

The 4-digit password (or however many digits you choose it to exist) is just analternative manner of logging in, if youhaven't set a countersign for a specific motorcar.
For example, if you remote a PC at work, and you accept pre-set the password "password" for it, then you can either remote-in with the password "password", or whatever the changing multi-digit lawmaking presented on-screen is.
Only ... don't apply "password" as your password

Thank you for posting the steps required to set a permanent password. I have followed the steps, nevertheless:
i. The countersign is not being saved, even though I clicked OK at the bottom of the Security folio subsequently changing it.
2. Simply the randomly generated ID works.
Does the pw alter every fourth dimension? I left a session open on a computer I need to access, but I cannot login with current pw.

Its 2022 it looks like unattended remote access is simply non possible with Teamviewer
I am struggling to get unattended remote access working on :
- Macbook Air - host
- macbook Pro - guest

I encounter in a higher place says :

Merely, there is no such setting in the configurations on a Mac version of Teamviewer.
Can anyone explain how to set up the countersign or avoid a password for computers that are in the allowed list and wish to gain unattended access.
